Freewing Flight Technologies researches and develops innovative VTOL solutions for UAV technology. Freewing designed the Tilt-Boom technology to stabilize Vertical Takeoff and Landing Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (VTOL UAV) aircraft. The Tilt-Boom technology was conceived by inventor Tom Sash. The Freewing Spirit UAV is a Remotely Piloted Vehicle (RPV) and is radio controlled by an avionics suite produced by Innocon, Ltd. In addition to Innocon, Ltd., other Teaming Partners include NASA, Eagle Aviation, Applied Micro Design, L&L Tooling and the University of Maryland.
